Eventually It came to me that I want to keep the colors basic but with a nice contrast. I did not had any idea about what materials I would like to use. I started to work with only my sketches and my imagination at my side. Since my background is architecture, and I tend to run concepts in my head for a long time and gather sketches about them, I just had to implement this specific one about an open living space where you can have the most common and general functions one will daily do.

I wanted to know how far I could go and how realistic I could make things look. I designed this scene as a case study for the combined use of SketchUP, VRay and Photoshop. I was really glad to have won the prize because I was just starting out my own company in Holland, at age 19 at that time, and got great exposure after the win.
